Meet Dr. Vallejos Team
Kristen Wolf
Kristen assists Dr. Vallejo in patient procedures and helps out at the front desk. She has worked in the field of dentistry since 2007. In working with Dr. Vallejo,Kristen appreciates that she learns many different things everyday and the sence of humor he has with his patients. Kristen has lived in Lakeland, FL since 1986. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys shopping, spending time at the beach, playing with her puppy Ralphie and hanging out with her family.
Pamela Strickland, Dental Assistant
Pamela is from Bonifay, Florida and has lived in Lakeland for 30 years. She has been working with Dr. Vallejo since December 2008. As a dental assistant some of her duties include taking care of patients and assisting Dr. Vallejo in all dental procedures. She enjoys working with Dr. Vallejo because he is a great dentist and he gives her the opportunity to learn a lot. When Pamela is not working she enjoys fishing, going to the beach, cooking and hanging out with friends and family.
Janelle Thomas, Registered Dental Hygienist
Janelle’s duties as a registered dental hygienist include educating and helping each patient to reach optimum oral health. She has worked in the field of dentistry and with Dr. Vallejo since 2002. Janelle enjoys the practice of dentistry because she loves seeing people achieve the smile they dreamed of. She appreciates working with Dr. Vallejo because he cares about his patients and recommends what is best for each individual. Janelle’s favorite thing about her job is meeting people and building relationships as well as seeing evidence of improved oral health. Janelle is a native of Florida and has lived in Lakeland since 1980. When she’s not working Janelle enjoys spending time with family, teaching children’s Bible class, and reading.
Cynthia Hernandez, Registered Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist, Cynthias duties include helping patients in obtaining and maintaining good oral health and educating them on various dental options available. She enjoys analyzing and interpreting the needs of each patient to provide a caring comfortable experience at the dental office. She has worked as a dental hygiene professional since 2005 and has been with Dr. Vallejo since relocating from Connecticut in 2008.
Cynthia enjoys working with Dr. Vallejo because of his high standard, professionalism and sense of humor. Continuing education is important to her, so working with Dr. Vallejo has expanded her knowledge base in learning about neuromuscular dentistry and advanced cosmetic procedures. One of her favorite things about working in this office is meeting the many nice patients who have been coming to this practice for years and hearing their positive remarks about their treatment.
Cynthia and her husband David are establishing a new home in Lakeland. When she is not working, she enjoys theater, dining, travel and playing raquetball.
Michelle Campbell, Dental Hygienist
Michelle’s duties as a dental hygienist include maintaining patients’ oral health. She has worked in the field of dentistry since 1989 and with Dr. Vallejo since 1997. Michelle’s favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is having the opportunity to educate patients on the advancements in dentistry. She also appreciates being able to build trusting relationships with patients. Michelle enjoys working with Dr. Vallejo because of his attention to detail and quality of care. Michelle is a native of Florida and has lived in Lakeland since 1989. Her family includes her husband, Craig, and her son, Parker. When not at work, Michelle enjoys exercise, reading, and nutrition.
Taryn Sicks, Administrative Assistant
As an administrative assistant, Taryn answers the phones, verifies insurance benefits, explains benefits to patients, reviews treatment plans with patients, sets up financing for patients, and many other tasks! She has worked in the field of dentistry and with Dr. Vallejo since 2005.Taryn’s favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is the cosmetic benefits of dentistry and educating patients. She enjoys working with Dr. Vallejo and her co-workers because "we learn so much every day and we get to pass on all the information that we learn to our patients." Taryn is a native of Searcy, Arkansas, and has lived in Lakeland since 2006. When she’s not working, Taryn enjoys running, fitness training, reading, and spending time with her daughters, Danielle and Taylor, and her son, Christian.
